On February 5th our Community Impact Team, Ernest and Meshach, traveled to Hausa Kope to complete the bore holes. They brought along a crew who helped lay concrete around the boreholes and install hand pumps so the people would be able to pump the water whenever they need it.
The team also educated the Committee in Hausa Kope about the importance of maintenance and upkeep of the wells. The community members expressed their gratitude for the clean drinking water for their families and their desire to make sure that the boreholes remain in good working condition for years to come.
Two weeks later our Community Impact Team returned to Hausa Kope to dedicate the wells to the Lord and to thank God for His faithfulness and love for the people of Hausa Kope. The chief joined us for the well dedications along with community members and many excited children.
