At City of Refuge Ministries (CORM), we believe that education is a powerful tool to transform the lives of children rescued from slavery and exploitation in Ghana. Vulnerable populations are at a heightened risk of trafficking, and access to quality education helps reduce this risk by addressing economic disparity and empowering individuals.

According to the UNESCO Global Education Monitoring Report, 171 million people could be lifted out of extreme poverty if all children left school with basic reading skills. CORM is dedicated to providing rescued children with this crucial foundation. Through Faith Roots International Academy, we offer a Christ-centered, high-quality education to children from our Children's Village and surrounding communities. This not only equips them with academic skills but also nurtures their emotional and spiritual well-being.

CORM’s commitment to education extends beyond primary and secondary schooling. We provide higher education scholarships to ensure that our students can pursue their dreams and reach their full potential. These scholarships cover tuition, books, and living expenses, enabling students to attend universities and vocational schools. By supporting higher education, we empower our students to secure better job opportunities and become leaders in their communities. This holistic approach ensures that children are not only rescued but are also given the tools to build a brighter, self-sufficient future, significantly reducing the risk of trafficking for future generations.

You can start a fundraiser today and ask your friends and family to join you in helping to provide 30 students with scholarships or you can give today.
